Collections of Waikiki

Collections of Waikiki is the over-arching name of 60+ stores inside the lobby of Starwood Waikiki’s four iconic resorts, Sheraton Waikiki, Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. Pick up Hawaii-style festive decorations at The Christmas Store at Sheraton Waikiki, luxury skin and hair care at Malie Organics at Royal Hawaiian, tropical trinkets at Sand People at Moana Surfrider and the perfect beach hat from Chapel Hats at Princess Kaiulani. Waikiki Beach Walk

Waikiki Beach Walk is a dedicated entertainment precinct on Lewers Street, between Kalakaua Avenue and Kalia Road. It’s an open-air mall spread over two floors featuring a mix of one-of-a-kind boutiques, award-winning restaurants, and regular events. The apparel store offerings have a local-focus, shop beautiful summer dresses at Mahina, batik clothing designed in Hawaii at Noa Noa, and sophisticated aloha shirts at Kahala. Yard House and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse are the most popular restaurant on the strip. The precinct hosts weekly activities and live performances on a regular basis.

Luxury Row

Luxury Row is the appropriate name for a collection of top-tier brands located at 2100 Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. This is Hawaii’s Rodeo Drive, the place to lap up high-end retail therapy at Mui Mui, Saint Laurent Paris, Chanel, Gucci, Moncler, Bottega Veneta, and Golden Goose. For those with a vehicle, they provide complimentary valet parking (11am-7pm). Boujie events are held here throughout the year.

Royal Hawaiian Center

Royal Hawaiian Center is a three-block four-level mega-structure on Waikiki’s Kalakaua Avenue home to 150+ stores. Must-see stores include the Apple Store with a facade made of Hawaiian lava rock and the enormous multi-level Tiffany & Co. The food and beverage scene here is second to none. Dine at The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s, Tim Ho Wan, Doraku Sushi, plus many other top restaurants. For a casual bite to eat, choose from one of two food courts, Paina Lanai Food Court and Waikīkī Food Hall. For a quiet glass of vino, sneak up to Island Vintage Wine Bar (next to the popular Island Vintage Coffee). This center is also renowned for complimentary in-person Hawaiian cultural classes and has an awesome line-up of free Hawaiian entertainment including live music and hula.

Waikiki Shopping Plaza

Waikiki Shopping Plaza on Kalakaua Avenue is easily recognized by it’s signature stores, the lingerie specialist Victoria’s Secret and make-up lovers wonderland Sephora. Peruse the boutiques inside the building for the cutest range of made-in-Hawaii gifts at Aloha Outlet, Good Feelings and Unibazar. This is also the location of Buho Cocina y Catina, a Mexican rooftop restaurant and bar, and Waikiki Yokocho, a posse of 14 Japanese restaurant serving everything from ramen, to sushi and tempura, a hidden gem in the basement.

Waikiki Business Plaza

Waikiki Beach Plaza is home to an array of businesses including the headquarters for Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau and Oahu Visitors Bureau. Major retailers on-site include H&M and Lululemon, and the best views in town are found at SKY Waikiki rooftop bar, restaurant, and nightclub on the 19th floor.

Ross Dress For Less

Ross Dress For Less is America’s largest off-price retail chain. It’s got cult-status on Oahu with around fifteen stores on the island, including this one on Seaside Avenue in Waikiki. With two floors of aisles crammed with clothing racks categorized by type and size it’s easy to mistake this place for a thrift store, but it’s definitely not. You’ll find nothing but brand name clothing, shoes and accessories discounted 20-60% off.

Nordstrom Rack

Nordstrom Rack is the discounted arm of luxury department store Nordstrom. After you ascend the indoor escalator, next to Duke’s Lane Market & Eatery on Kuhio Avenue, a bargain hunters paradise will appear. Think high-quality clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, accessories, beauty products, and decor at low-level prices. After shopping up a storm, re-charge your battery at the nearby Starbucks Reserve Bar.

Macy’s

Macy’s is front and center on Kalakaua Avenue, opposite The Cheesecake Factory making it the perfect place to kill time when you’re waiting on a table. This ground-floor department store is perfect for shopping for cosmetics, perfume, and swimwear. Discover a larger four-level Macy’s Ala Moana Center. Show your international driver’s license or passport to a staff member to get your Macy’s International Visitor Savings Pass giving you a 10% discount off most purchases.

International Market Place

International Market Place has been a Waikiki centerpiece since 1956. Between 2013-2016 it underwent a much-needed renovation. This retail space was completely re-imagined with only two things remaining from the original site, the name and a few trees including a huge Indian banyan tree. This Waikiki shopping destination has 100+ curated stores, including Hawaii’s first Saks Fifth Avenue. The Grand Lanai on the third floor is dedicated to eateries including our favorites Herringbone (Californian Coast Cuisine) and Goma Tei (Ramen). There’s a fantastic Japanese grocery store on the second floor, Mitsuwa Marketplace, offering one of the best food shopping experiences in Waikiki featuring a Matcha LOVE cafe and MoDo mochi donut outlet. Get a massage at the Shiatsu & Massage Center, grab U.S. dollars from the Currency Exchange and sip on a delicious latte from Kona Coffee Purveyors. Prepare for your shopping spree ahead of time by downloading the extremely helpful International Market Place app (Apple). There’s an array of events including a daily ceremonial lighting and storytelling performance at sundown.

Pualeilani Atrium Shops

Pualeilani Atrium Shops span the first three stories of the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa, opposite the Duke’s State in central Waikiki. Look out for Urban Outfitters, Billabong (love their exclusive Hawaii merchandise) and Dylan’s Candy Bar, positioned on the outside of this building. The open-air atrium features a waterfall, it’s a gorgeous spot to visit any time of day. Get your caffeine fix at Kai Coffee, one of Oahu’s top coffee shops, or grab a freshly made snack at Tucker & Bevvy. Regular events are commonplace including the popular Waikiki Farmers Market every Tuesday and Thursday (4-8pm). Refer to the entertainment line-up online.
