Tucked away next to Waikīkī is the neighborhood of Kapahulu (kah-pah-hoo-loo). Originally dominated by Mom and Pop shops, Kapahulu is now anchored by two supermarkets (Safeway and Foodland) and dotted with a mix of foodie institutions, fast-food chains, local restaurants and bars and homegrown retail stores. Our full Kapahulu neighborhood guide is coming soon.
