Hula Grill Waikiki celebrates Hawaii with locally inspired cuisine and live hula. This restaurant is situated above Duke’s inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort (they share the same owner) has an equally good beach view. They support local Hawaii farms.
Mahina & Sun’s
Mahina & Sun’s presents elevated home-cooking inspired by Hawaii’s people and place. This is Ed Kenney’s fourth Oahu restaurant. He’s a renowned chef focused on creating fresh local flavors sourced from Hawaii’s farmlands. Share Mahina’s Family Feast, it’s a stellar fish feed.
Roy’s Waikiki
Roy’s Waikiki is the most popular Hawaii Regional Cuisine restaurant on Oahu. His ‘Hawaiian fusion’ food supports local farms, ranches and fisheries. Start with sushi, follow with a classic dish and end with Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle. Vegans will be stoked to know there’s a Vegan Prix-Fixe Menu.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
Ruth Chris Steakhouse steaks are high-grade, cooked to perfection, and served to sizzle on a hot-buttered plate. Dine at the bar 4:30-6pm (the line forms before 4pm) and order the ‘Sizzling Prime Time Menu’ from $54.95. It’s the perfect meal to share between two! The Lychee Martini’s are tops.
Sansei Seafood & Sushi
Sansei is the spot to dine on Asian sushi creations. Yummy items include dk’s Crab Ramen with Asian Truffle Broth, Panko-Crusted Fresh Ahi Tuna, and the Matsuhisa Style Miso Butterfish. There’s a late-night happy hour Fri-Sat 10pm-1am with 50% off select appetizers and sushi (line-up early).

Taormina Sicilian Cuisine
Taormina Sicilian Cuisine is a romantic restaurant dishing up fancy food inspired by Taormina, a seaside village in Southern Sicily. The pasta dishes are divine and clearly the main event, but there’s also plenty of fresh seafood and meat dishes with vegetables for health-conscious diners.
Tommy Bahama
Tommy Bahama tri-level store ‘lives the island life’ with the decor, food and drinks reflective of a tropical vibe and a toes-in-the-sand rooftop bar area. Sample dishes with Hawaii flair like Kona Coffee Crusted Ribeye and Mac Nut Crusted Fresh Catch. Start with Scallop Sliders and save room for dessert!
Zigu
Zigu is a farm-to-table Japanese izakaya-style restaurant. The menu features vegetable starters, tempura plates, mochiko fried chicken, sashimi and nigiri, kale udon noodles, and more. It’s also a sake bar, and offers indoor dining and outdoor courtyard terrace seating.
Piccola Onda
Piccola Onda by Chef Andrea Onetti is a phenomenal Italian food truck. They make their own pasta and it’s divine! The gnocchi ragu bolognese is one of their best-sellers, fluffy potato dumplings in a 9-hour tomato sauce with local beef. Pick up a plate and eat it by the beach!
Tiki’s Grill & Bar
Tiki’s Grill & Bar is a laidback, fun tiki-style restaurant. Pull up a seat on the expansive deck and enjoy a Pacific Rim menu with flavors of the islands! Try Tiki’s famous coconut shrimp, guava glazed baby back ribs or an island watermelon salad. Enjoy live music nightly!
