Things to Do for Obon Season in Waikīkī, Honolulu, Oʻahu in 2024
Central to Hawaiʻi’s Obon Season are Bon Dances, traditional Japanese events held to honor the departed spirits of one’s ancestors. These popular cultural festivals occur every summer on Oʻahu. They’re open to the entire community and feature local foods, unique activities, and Hawaiʻi vendors.
