Happy Hour in Waikiki is a must-do! This popular period of time, usually a couple of hours in the afternoon or early evening, is highlighted by restaurants and bars offering up cheap beverages and pupus (appetizers). It’s also called pau hana in Hawaii, a Hawaiian saying translating to “work is done”.

Mahina & Sun’s

Mahina & Sun’s at The Surfjack Hotel touts Happy Hour prices all day, every day! It’s excellent quality, everything from a $5 bowl of fries to $12 chicken wings and a $14 beef burger. Cocktails from $7 and a bucket of six Maui Beer cans are only $20.

Noi Thai Cuisine

Noi Thai is fit for royalty, even Obama has dined at this restaurant. Happy Hour is an absolute treat with a delicious Pad Thai for $10. Pick up crab wontons for $7 and fresh rolls with peanut sauce for $5. Beers start at $5 and wines at $7.

Yard House

Yard House has 100+ beers on tap and 15+ value-for-money eats for 50% off during Happy Hour. There’s classic sliders, boneless or Gardein wings, pizzas, poke nachos and more for under $10. Along with $4 off giant half yards (one liter of ale).
