At the far east end of Waikiki Beach, there are two additional beachfront hotels. This area of Waikiki is actually called the “Gold Coast” and it’s close to Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head. From Duke’s Statue, it takes about 15-minutes to walk to the Gold Coast. This end of town is neighborly, ideal for visitors who want easy access to Waikiki’s hustle and bustle of Waikiki but prefer to stay overnight in a relaxed hotel in a residential setting.
