DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alana is on the fringe of Waikīkī but still in a convenient location for exploring local attractions. It’s just a 10 minute walk to Kahanamoku Beach, Fort Derussy Beach Park and Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon.

Dining at the hotel is courtesy of Hiking Hawaii Café serving local coffee and flavorful dishes made with organic, locally sourced produce. There’s also Trees Bar & Grill with a hearty breakfast buffet and dinner menu packed with island favorites – try the Kalua pork nachos and fish tacos.
Activities are also on offer. Make a splash in the outdoor swimming pool, work up a sweat in the fitness center or host an event here. The hotel boasts 9,396 square-feet of venue space and can host up to 200 guests. It’s a perfect place for a wedding with a penthouse deck and ballroom with wraparound lanai and Waikīkī views.
As for unique selling points, this hotel gives free delicious DoubleTree cookies to every guest which is a lovely touch, and many visitors recommend the corner rooms with double balconies.
Don’t forget to add in the daily Resort Fee of US$35 + tax per day. Valet parking is also available at the hotel, starting at US$50 per day, although this is subject to change.
