Things to Do for Obon Season in Waikiki, Honolulu, Oahu in 2023
Central to Hawaii’s Obon Season are Bon Dances, traditional Japanese events held to honor the departed spirits of one’s ancestors. These popular cultural festivals occur every summer on Oahu. They’re open to the entire community and feature local foods, unique activities, and Hawaii vendors.
