Turtle Bay is the only dedicated resort area on Oʻahu’s North Shore. It’s a beautiful peninsula named after the large number of green sea turtles that inhabit the area. This bay is favored for surfing, fishing, and diving, whereas swimming is better at the neighboring Kuilima Cove. Turtle Bay Resort, as seen in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall movie, is the one-and-only resort on this side of the island (non-guests are welcome at the on-site restaurants and all beaches in Hawaii are public).
