Oahu Neighborhoods > Kahala Neighborhood Guide
Kahala, lying just east of Waikiki on the other side of Diamond Head volcano crater, is one of the wealthiest zip codes in the United States. Extending along a white sandy shoreline this neighborhood is in an enviable oceanfront position but is less frequented by tourists. The Kahala Hotel & Resort is the only hotel property in town, it’s five-star amenities are loved by celebrities and dignitaries (non-guests are welcome at the on-site restaurants and all beaches in Hawaii are public).
